since your so hot of the pad.. it does help going into realism of people bodies... heck this is coming from one who has neevr thouched that
but it does help in the long run with knwoing the knowledge of what to distort in the human body and preportion of all angles too
besides if your serious into going to uni ,, they will ask you for realism

I only started drawing when I was 16 , so only for a year now... just about as long as my account here on DA , that think serves as the pressure to do something good.. especially when you frineds can draw like this..

and so my story is I was denied doing art at secondary school cause I was soo hopeless yet at college accepted me cause of what I could do at the time , and looky now Im going to do animation at uni!!
these guys want realism over everything!!
I say use very occasion to draw something good like doing birthday cards.. you just have to impress them...
